26 Feb- 1st Mar

I still remember the 1st field partner meet Rang De organised in Mahabalipuram in a tiny resort in December 2010. We had less than a handful of field partners who we were working with and the two day meet centred more around how we can work together more efficiently. An important outcome of this meet was a voluntary decision by our field partners to sign a resolution that we are committed to making low cost microcredit a reality. The resolution had the signatures of all the heads of our partner organizations.

We no longer refer to our partners as ‘field’ partners. We call them ‘Impact partners.’ This is not just a change in nomenclature but reflects an entire change in approach, and giving them due recognition for the impact that they help in creating. The quality of conversations has evolved — over the years we have discussed some complicated subjects such as six sigma and taken some important decisions with regard to new interventions.

This is our 5th annual get together. In the past we have had an eclectic mix of social investors, team members and all our stakeholders at the event. This is not a conference, but really a confluence of representatives of different parts of the country. The three day event will focus on learnings, reflecting and looking ahead and provides a holistic approach.

And for the first time ever, we have Rang De impact partner — Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement — co-hosting the event at their premises in Mysore.

We invite you to be a part of this event — starting 26th February with a welcome dinner and then 2 days of packed sessions and conversations on impact!

Do get in touch with us (smita@rangde.org) if you want to have a look at the agenda in detail! To confirm your participation (register here). To help cover some of our costs, we have a registration fees of Rs. 3000 per head — which includes travel to Mysore (from Bangalore), food and accommodation.
