NRIs can soon invest using their credit cards & PayPal

Finally we have some good news for all Non-Resident Indians. From 1st of August, NRIs with a valid Indian Passport will be able to make social investments using their US Dollar credit/debit cards or PayPal accounts.

However there is a small catch. Scanned image of the first page of the social investor’s passport needs to be sent to Rang De to verify your identity. The social investment will be valid only after the social investor’s passport image is approved by Rang De. The process of sending your passport image to RangDe.Org is a one time process. Should you wish to make more social investments (after the first), you need not send it again.

All your transactions at RangDe.Org will become more secure as we will now use the HTTPS protocol and get certified by Verisign.

Of course, this is a temporary solution until we are able to get an FCRA exemption from Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

By transitioning into an NBFC P2P under the new RBI guidelines, Rang De is taking a step forward in social investing. Join us today by visiting our platform
