By Zishan Ansari, Rang De Volunteer & Social Investor
My volunteering with Rang De started a few years ago when I ran the TCS 10k along with the Rang De team. Even though I had been a social investor, it was the first time I was volunteering for Rang De. Following the run, I became involved in the activities of the Bangalore Chapter. I was fortunate to work with some committed volunteers in the group and together we organised several events to create awareness about Rang De. During my volunteering stint, I had the opportunity to interact with the Rang De team quite closely.
My next endeavour is to club my love for cycling with Rang De — my passion for Rang De and cycling can be a potent combination and I hope to raise funds for the entrepreneur community that Rang De has been supporting.
The cycling expedition starts from June 13th until 24th June, during which I will be cycling 560 kms from Manali to Leh. My training along with my determination to support Rang De will keep me going through this phase.
What will motivate me a lot more is if you can support my Project Ridestrong on Rang De. I really want my cycling expedition to bring smiles to people and I want this to be my way of inviting others like you to the Rang De platform.
To comply with RBI regulations, Rang De’s lending operations are moving from rangde.org to our brand new platform rangde.in. Visit rangde.in to continue social investing.
