“Finishing a marathon is a state of mind that says Anything is Possible!”

It is that time of year again! The Tata Mumbai Marathon, India’s biggest and most high-profile running event is set to take place on 20 January 2019 and we, at Rang De, are calling on all runners to show us that anything IS indeed possible!

Marathons are a spectacular feat of high energy and focused intent converging on one goal: defying the limits set on human capacity. At Rang De we have run the long race against poverty for over a decade. By connecting people who want to do good with people who desperately need credit for basic needs (like livelihoods or education), we have witnessed how doing good can be deeply rewarding, much like running. Make an impact in the lives of fellow Indians. Invest through Rang De’s newly launched platform

As runners prepare for the Tata Mumbai Marathon with their time goals, Rang De has set an ambitious goal of its own. We would like to raise Rs.10,00,000 for our borrowers. And we’re calling on you to be a larger than life force for Rang De!

Running is, in its essence, a solitary act. As Haruki Murakami eloquently wrote, “All I do is keep on running in my own cozy, homemade void, my own nostalgic silence.” In this sense, marathons are unique venues because they are a public & social celebration of an essentially private & individual act. It is, in a sense, our shared communal acknowledgment of the solitary nature of life.

Through its work, Rang De too challenges and breaks silos created in society. In the face of ever-growing economic inequality in the country, Rang De acts as a bridge between two divided worlds, by trusting and recognizing the universal ability to empathize that exists in all of humanity. Choose to make a difference by investing through Rang De’s new platform

This Marathon season, join Rang De by fundraising for communities in need and by introducing us to other runners participating in the Mumbai Marathon 2019.

Remember, you are not alone. And just like you, we too are in it for the long haul!
