Sometimes people of different teams within an organisation have very little idea about what members of the other teams are up to right? Well Rang De was no different till our whole team sat for a meeting in the same room for the first time (previous team meetings were over the phone) on Friday, which we have decided to call “The Rang De Open House”.

During the Open House, each team member shared their updates using a powerpoint presentation and got feedback from the rest of the team on their presentations and updates.  Although updates were shared on our weekly calls, they weren’t communicated as clearly as they were during the Open House. Some of the main things discussed were:

• Audio evaluations – stay tuned to our social media to listen to them once they’re up on the site.
• A Rang De fellowship program for people who are interested in doing short term work with us and our field partners.
• Having more blogs from our operations team and more blogs on the microcredit and microfinance sector

Every month, organising the Open House will be the responsibility of one team member. We are open to learning and would like speakers to give quick workshops that would help the team in any respect.
